Termite Protection

  • Termites may be small, but they create big problems. Every year in the United States, termites cause more than 5 billion dollars in damage.
  • Feeding 24/7 in colonies that can support over a million little wood-destroyers, termites invade over 5 million homes a year—and yet, more than half of Americans have never had their home inspected for termites!
  • When it comes to investing in home protection, no one thinks twice about having smoke detectors, fences, alarms systems, and cameras. Pest control is no different, and providing a barrier of protection against termites is just one more way that we at Hawx help our customers keep their homes safe.

Simple Installation

After performing a thorough inspection, your Hawx Service Professional installs industry-leading termite bait stations around the perimeter of your home (about every 10 feet).

How does it work?

The bait stations we install feed foraging termites. Subterranean termites strongly prefer eating the bait over wood, and the active agent in the bait prevents termites from molting. Termites can’t survive without molting, so when worker termites feed the colony with this active agent, it wipes the colony out. Once installed, the bait stations provide colony-eliminating protection for as long as you keep the service.

Ongoing protection

Once installed, the bait stations provide colony-eliminating protection for as long as you keep the service. This ongoing protection is the most important part of the service that Hawx provides. We come back annually to check and refill the bait stations around the property. As long as you maintain your service with Hawx, you can rest easy that your home is defended.
